This video illustrates research happening at the Organic Robotics Lab at Cornell University. Robert Shepherd, Sibley School of Mechanical and Aerospace Engineering, uses a class of materials known as bicontinuous metal elastomer composites to create robots that can heal themselves, and even change shape.
